The Frozen Flowers at Dries Van Noten Are Your New Wedding Inspiration

Intricate flower bouquets were frozen in ice at the Dries Van Noten show in Paris today, inspiring a flood of Instagram snaps among fashion editors and, ultimately, wedding goals for all. Designed by the Japanese flower artist Azuma Makoto, these icy buds served as columns along the runway, showcasing the collection’s black, yellow, and gold fabrics.

The botanical sculptures were reminiscent of the designer’s spring 2015 show (another Instagram hit), where the knit-carpet catwalk by artist Alexandra Kehayoglou was made to look like a mossy lawn. This time Dries went wintry, though as the sweaty show progressed, the ice started to melt. Take note, wedding planners of America.
