Emotions were running high across America the night of the first presidential debate, evidenced no more clearly than in four breathtakingly simple words captured in Vine form: “Thanks a lot, bitch.”
The woman doing the thanking is reportedly Kimberly Halkett of Al Jazeera English, the woman being thanked is unknown. Her crime? Apparently pushing Halkett out of the way as she was making her way to interview Shark Tank shark and famous rich man Mark Cuban.
At first glance you may rub your bleary eyes, wondering if you’d accidentally switched over to an episode of Real Housewives. But then the lights become brighter, the Hofstra Debate 2016 sign more visible, and the words echo again and again in perpetuity: “Thanks a lot, bitch.”
