Astutely realizing his popularity among women is not quite as stellar as Hillary Clinton’s, Donald Trump is now firing back with the Trump-Pence Women’s Empowerment Tour. Led by Lara Trump, the presidential nominee’s daughter-in-law, the tour is rounded out by campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson, Lynne Patton, and YouTube stars Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson.

Trump kicked off the tour by saying “We really don’t have any idea what we’re doing, except we said, ‘We’ve got to go out and tell people what a great guy Donald Trump is.”

Both Trump and Pierson made sure to note that with the exception of Lara Trump, the leaders of the tour are all women of color, presumably to counteract the crazy notion Donald Trump is racist or intolerant.

At a rally in Bellville, Ohio, Politico reports that Lara Trump told the story of how Donald Trump offered her an ice cream at the U.S. Open the day they met. Because nothing is more relatable to the average American woman than having a billionaire get you an frozen treat at a tennis match.
