After a lifetime spent listening to vicious attacks on both her parents, a little insult like “nasty woman” doesn’t faze Chelsea Clinton.
Chelsea stopped by The Talk on Thursday, where she was asked about Donald Trump interrupting her mother, Hillary Clinton, to make the inappropriate comment during the last presidential debate. Instead of going on a warranted rant about Trump’s overt sexism, Chelsea remained as calm as can be, and gave the most political answer imaginable. She said:
“My first reaction was, ‘Oh my gosh. Oh no, now no one’s going to pay attention to Social Security,’ which is actually a really important conversation and a topic that hasn’t gotten a lot of attention in this election season.”
Nice to know Chelsea is just as wonkish as her mom.
