Kim Kardashian stepped out with her husband, Kanye West, and their two children, North and Saint, on Thursday morning in New York City, the first time the family has been seen together since Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris earlier in the week. A source told Entertainment Tonight that the family was headed home to Los Angeles.
Kardashian was uncharacteristically clad in a hoodie and baseball hat, shielding her face from the paparazzi and holding onto 3-year-old North as they exited their New York City apartment, with Kanye and 9-month-old Saint close behind. The family was reportedly surrounded by new security guards for increased protection.
The reality star had not been seen out in New York since arriving on Monday morning, just hours after the Paris robbery took place. A source told ET that she has been “absolutely traumatized” and “very emotional” since the robbery. “The scariest part for her throughout this experience is the fact that it could have been a lot worse, and she couldn’t imagine what that would have been like for her children,” the source said. “The kids have no idea what’s going on, thankfully.”
Kardashian is reportedly taking a month off of work to recuperate after the attack, and will be scaling back her social-media presence, as well.
