More than half a dozen women have now come forward to accuse Donald Trump of sexual assault – claims he’s said are “pure fiction and outright lies.” Indeed, the Trump campaign is employing an impressive number of conspiracy theories to explain away his accusers, but according to a new Quinnipiac University poll, voters aren’t buying it.

Women voters in particular tend to believe Trump is guilty of sexual assault; 56 percent of women voters said they “believe Donald Trump committed these actions” versus 44 percent of men. When you take into account the percentages of men and women who believe Trump is innocent, the difference is even more stark:

Perhaps unsurprisingly, whether or not a voter believes Trump committed sexual assault seems to depend less on their gender and more on their political affiliation — only 22 percent of Republicans believe he’s guilty. What’s more, only 8 percent of Republicans believe the allegations are a “deal-breaker.” Thirty-two percent believe they’re a big deal, but not a deal-breaker, and 59 percent say they’re “not a big deal.”
