Hannant has been a favorite among the Park Avenue set since his first collection in 1996, and not only does he dress these women, he socializes with them. Hannant delivers what he calls “couture sportswear separates,” made up of impeccably tailored, versatile pieces in luxurious fabrics and furs that easily go from the office to La Grenouille to the charity dinner. His evening gowns are sexy and dramatic, often in bold colors and soft, flowing fabrics that manage to discreetly highlight the best aspects of the female form. Hannant is not bashful about heightening the drama, embellishing with beads, feathers, fringe, ruffles, and other trimmings.
