Gay Bars

The (legal) sex-club scene in Paris is lively, but for a good spot to go to mostly clothed, there’s the bar Les Souffleurs (7, rue de la Verrerie). Says filmmaker Vincent Gagliostro, “Many consider it having no parallel in Paris. Lots of fashion and music kids with talent. Flirty. Closest thing Paris has to the great and departed Jackie 60 vibe. With D.J.’s down in a rocking cellar.” For actual conversation, try Le Duplex (25, rue Michel le Comte), which may remind New Yorkers of Nowhere bar. And one Parisienne suggests that lesbians end their night at the “Ladies Room” Party at L’Anthracite (20, rue de la Reynie).
