Four Seasons
When to Stay: July 1 to September 5
The Deal: Not only are the rates lower than at other times of the year—they start at $625—you’ll get a $100 credit per night, which can be used in the hotel’s restaurants or spa, put toward room service, or deducted from the room rate.


Hotel Plaza Athenee
When to Stay: July 1 to September 1
The Deal: Already-lowered rates (starting at $570) are further offset by a $100 Bloomingdale's gift card.


Mandarin Oriental, New York
When to Stay: May 22 to May 27
The Deal: If you reserve a room around Memorial Day weekend for three nights, you get a fourth free. Averaged out over four nights, rates can be as low as $521.25 per night.


New York Palace
When to Stay: Memorial Day or Fourth of July weekends
The Deal: If you arrive on Friday or Saturday, you’ll get 40 percent off a suite.


St. Regis Hotel
When to Stay: By May 31
The Deal: A package that includes breakfast for two at Astor Court is $755 per night, and AAA members can get that down to $695.
