Best of New York Beauty 2003

Best Brows

  • Kristie Streicher at Warren Tricomi

    45 Rockefeller Plaza, 212-218-8650

It’s a tribute to Kristie Streicher’s talent that a third of her clients are men. She waxes and tweezes the brows of both genders, following the natural shape and arch. With men, she goes easy, plucking mostly above and between the eyes; on women, she’s a bit more liberal with the tweezers and waxing strips ($51). To finish, she tints the brows ($36), lightening them for bottle blondes, darkening and adding drama for brunettes and redheads. This automatically fills out brows—so you won’t need to worry about brow pencil.
