Everyone's a Critic First Annual Readers' Picks What are the best restaurants in New York? That's the kind of question that starts food fights, and for the first time in the history of Best of New York, we turned not only to our critics and editors but, through online polling, to our readers. Voters were asked to choose among five finalists in each of ten restaurant categories, and they also had the option of writing in their own picks. In all, nearly 2,000 of you cast votes.
