Best of New York Services 2004

Best Canine Convierge

  • Animal Fair VIP Concierge

Think of this as Ask Jeeves for your pet. Run by Wendy Diamond and Jennifer Cattaui, editors of Animal Fair magazine, the service provides reliable recommendations for just about anything your pet might need, anywhere in the world. They’ll find a seamstress to design a custom carrier or outfit. They’ll point you to walkers, groomers, trainers, and play-date partners and will orchestrate a pet birthday party (one devoted dog owner shelled out about $1,500 for such a fête). Yearly membership costs $500, including a complimentary astrological reading for your four-legged friend.
