    Finding a pretty faucet or basic ceramic tub in this town is a no-brainer: Check out any of a dozen great fixtures stores, and you’ll see identical selections of big-name brands. But for the ultimate in chic, contemporary fixtures, head down to Boffi. Interior designers shop here for elements that can transform a bathroom into spalike heaven, picking up everything from streamlined terra-cotta basins ($646), sleek one-piece faucets ($575), and tubular steel light fixtures (from $354) to massive, seamless Bihar stone tubs ($35,000) that are the size of a walk-in closet. Don’t be put off by the gallery-ish atmosphere (or the absence of price tags); novices are more than welcome.
