Sharing a room is hard sometimes, admits
Sarah Shemtov, 7: “My sister [Ellie, 3] always wants to go in
my bed because it’s up high.” Both beds and desks were
designed by their father (who owns the Dune furniture showroom in
Tribeca), and those beds in particular have proved to be a source
of comfort: “I sleep really well here. My other bed gave
me nightmares. I had a dream catcher, but it obviously didn’t
work,” says Sarah. As for the pink-and-lavender color scheme,
Dad chose that, too. But, “I like them,” Sarah says approvingly.
“And I think they’re also the right color for pants.”
