In elementary school, I was taken to the Hall of Science (now the Queens Museum) to see the wonderful diorama. The memory of this fantastic exhibit have stuck with more than many sites I visited in the US and abroad while a child. It's accuracy, detail and the ability it gives you to grasp the true scale of New York City make this an invaluable visit, young or old
