The poor mans 285 Kent, and proud! Looking like the hollowed out boiler room of some middle school in Teaneck NJ, Death By Audio is the best place to see a wild performance or get broken glass in yr hair… one of the two is promised. Any band I catch here always has their sound perfectly complimented by DBA's long suffering P.A. system. I visit the back room before the show to loosen up with well whiskey and a 4-bit video game. Towards the end of any given show you will most likely encounter someone stagger through the crowd like Frankenstein's monster and end up hurting themselves after tripping over the random shoe that was just launched with purpose from the back of the room. This is a commonality. Hold your ground. I always stay to the bitter end of any show at Death By Audio because like that jerk Forrest Gump said. "You never know what you're going to get."
