Why visiting museums when you can have it all for free in such a wonderfull gallery. Despite I was looking for contemporary olfactory art, I had a great time here. It feels so serene to be between the quietness of the art in relation with the space. Standing as nr°1 on my next visit to NY at the end of the year, I really recommend this gallery! The people were very polite and helpful. Explained a lot about the artists. Hope they will show some or at least one contemporary olfactory artist in the near future. Think the space has a lot of potentional for it. Strange that these days when 'smell' is so actually, that there are not so many artists in the world that work only with the combination of smell and visuality. Maybe it's something specific American? In Europe you find olfactory art easier and I'm not talking about perfumes, but real visual art in combination with smells. I'm starting to get more addicted to it, so it's personal to mention this. But I think it's worth to say that art galleries have more power these days than museums. They can introduce olfactory art easier. When I saw the artworks at gagosian, I was really impressed! If you love art and visit NY, go to Gagosian. You will be standing there with open mouth and feel the love for art.
