I got horribly assaulted there by a drunk woman who lives above the bar. The owner saw everything and did nothing. Securities kicked her out in 30(!) minutes, but after I left she assaulted me again on the street and pulled a lot of my hair out. For nothing. My head was bruised for a week after this incident. Sometimes this place has good deals, but there is absolutely no respect for costumers. I know bad things happen, and I just needed at least an apology that I never got.

this is a good place to chill when you are living in the neighborhood... the week end concerts are cool enought to go there, or even to play pool in the back .

169 Bar provides me with a great place to drink. Not only that, i made some new friends there. Cool ambience and nice music. If you are a tourist and you like a place to feel at home, you gotta go to this place but make sure you blend in nicely. People there are nice. Drinks are reasonably priced. Very cool pool table.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
