Great looking setup, no cover, and drinks were decent. Crowd was great,we came on a Tuesday Night. Yeah, it was the last night in NYC and we wanted to check it out. We really wanted to go for brunch or happy hour. Over all we had a great time and come back on our next visit to NYC. 230 fifths rooftop was great.

Went here last night to have a drink and see the view with 5 of my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday! The ambience is amazing and can imagine it would be an awesome spot to go and see in the warmer weather. I would definitly go here again, its a very intimate place when its not jammed, def a good date night place

the view is what its all about and this rooftop lounge has the most amazing view in NYC. You can see the Empire state Bldg feels like you can reach out and touch it. It has a few of all the major landmarked buildings in manhattan
will be back

Went here for the first time with a group for a birthday and had an amazing time. Crowd was fun, music was great. Drinks were expensive, yes, but the view and the atmosphere justified the price. I had an awesome time and I will definitely be back.

The View is Spectacular! I love New York City; I go to rooftops to dream....to get away from the streets. When your up that high there is no sound, just the beautiful skyline of skyscrapers, so quiet that you have time to reflect and hear your thoughts. And then you're interrupted by someone who says, "Can I offer you a drink?" It's like someone waking you up from a beautiful dream. Some people like sports; I prefer sipping wine and champagne on New York City roof tops. 230 Fifth is one of my favorites. Located at the top of an office building, the rooftop has spectacular views. The drinks won't cost you an arm and leg, most drinks are under $12 for a roof top that's not bad. And although its a rooftop during the week they have actual glassware thats amazing, I love the furniture and couches. Truly one of my favorite rooftops in NYC.

My company had an event here which was really great. After it was over, we ended up staying later. We had a wonderful time during the event and was impressed with the service. After the event we moved to the main room they had a DJ on this particular Sat night. We danced , chatted and enjoyed the view, Def a good after party spot!

This is definitely a nice place, but VERY pricey! What can you expect though - rooftop bar in the city with great views of NYC. We had a reservation for a party of 12 for my lil sissy's college graduation celebration. The only drawback though is that they require you to puchase 1 bottle for every 6 people in your party...so that's where it gets EXPENSIVE...but well worth it for the experience! When we got there, we went straight to the front of the line and they let us in just like that, no waiting in line. This place even provides hooded robes and blankets/throws for cooler weather...not sure how clean they are, but I guess when people aren't sober, they don't really care LOL When I was here, this place got really busy, so it's nice to have had reserved seating. Also, I liked that there was a good mixture of all ages here...not just a bunch of 21 years olds and not just a bunch of over the hill people. Great atmosphere. Loved it!

This place is nice if you are looking for a drama-free night. It is not difficult to get in The drinks were super expensive (like all trendy places in the city) but the service was fast and friendly. My friend and I sat at a nice table and the views were incredible. The music was okay, mostly 80's and top 40s which isn't what I would listen to normally but it's fine at a bar. The only bad thing was that later on gets packed but still fun, so I would recommend coming early. Overall a fun night!
