I have visited this hot spot in the west village numerous times and always had exceptional service and a great time. The Bar staff and bus boys were extremely attentive to our group as we both mingled at the bar and then used a bottle voucher I purchased from gilt.com. The room has such a nice ambiance with the low ceilings and dim lighting. by about 1:30am the club was really going with great music, the DJ really knows how to feel the crowd! All around, great time, will be returning very soon!

This place has everything: opulence, a hot staff, great service, great music, and a sexy looking crowd. I had the time of my life at this place last weekend. I'm going back tonight!

Stopped by 49 Grove for Justin Ross Lee's Birthday after party last weekend! Really enjoyed myself, tried their watermelon martini, DELICIOUS! There was a red carpet and camera's flashing everywhere! Danced the night away and enjoyed a few yummy cupcakes as well! I definitely suggest 49 Grove as a venue for Birthday Parties! The staff was great at accommodating everyone who attended, I even danced a little bit with one of the cute waitresses :) Two thumbs up!

This place ROCKS!!! I went here for a bachelor party with for my best friend and had the BEST TIME EVER! We got a few bottles, had a HOT waitress, and I left with numbers from three HOTTIES! The place was packed, the music was great, and I left PLENTY drunk. Great time. I would recommend it to anyone.

Line cut is false, everybody is VIP door. First come first serve table choice is false, voucher users are given worse cramped tables no matter how large your party. Tax and tip is based off the full price of your bottle, not the voucher. The real discount is not 82% off. It is actually closer to 50% with the appropriate tip and tax included. As a voucher user, I was a second class citizen.

Went there last night for New Year's Eve and couldn't wait to get back home to write this review. I have never been to a place with such horrible service. A friend of a friend did them a great favor by putting together and event and getting about 150+ to sign up and purchase tickets for $120 as well as get table service for New Years Eve. We were all looking forward to having a great time with friends and great music. Too bad the only two bartenders got in the way of that. Not only were they WAY short staffed but they were incredibly rude and borderline mean. They barely poured any alcohol into mixed drinks and refused to serve anyone without double digit bills in their hands for tip. When I ordered a "strong" Jack and Ginger the male bartender actually said, "Strong? I don't see any money in your hand" and walked away. The waitresses overcharged on bottle service and spilled drinks on people without apologizing. I understand that on a hectic night like New Years Eve things are bound to have some hiccups, but our experience there was horrible. They should realize that if they treated all the people (that have already paid good money to come to their establishment with an "open bar") with respect they would have gotten better tips and much better reviews. This place actually could have potential, it's a shame that management doesn't realize how important customer service is. My advice: Don't even consider this place. All 150+ of us will not be coming back.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
