This place ROCKS!!! I went here for a bachelor party with for my best friend and had the BEST TIME EVER! We got a few bottles, had a HOT waitress, and I left with numbers from three HOTTIES! The place was packed, the music was great, and I left PLENTY drunk. Great time. I would recommend it to anyone.

This place has everything: opulence, a hot staff, great service, great music, and a sexy looking crowd. I had the time of my life at this place last weekend. I'm going back tonight!

My friends and I went there and purchased a bottle. We later on purchased second bottle and was told by the manager that we could keep our bottle and return whenever we prefer. 3 weeks later when we wanted to revisit, their story changed. So basically, we spent over $300 for a bottle of vodka that has an expiration date: they can only keep a bottle for 7 days! (that's their new version of story.) Worst place ever! do not go there, specially after few drinks. They can totally rub all the money out of you!

Standing online waiting to get in was just a nightmare for me because the door man felt that I was the wrong race for that particular night (crazy right). When I finally got in front of the line I tried to speak to the door man about us being on the guest list, since my friend is having her b-day party, he just ignored me and allowed people behind me to get in. Which I felt was unfair since I waited for my turn to get in this place. This went on for about 20 min. Until I realized this was a race issue since he was allowing all the white woman and men to get in front of me which made me feel insulted and embarrassed -------I suggest if you have a mix crowd of friends do not bring them there for any occasion.

Went to 49 grove on sat to scout it out for a future event.. the crowd was terrible,, the bouncer extremeley rude, the ceilings VERY LOW therefore claustrophobic... and the place smelled.... Do not go here- way too many good places in the city.... Isthere a reason nymag keeps deleting posts regarding 49 grove's terribleness?

Stopped by 49 Grove for Justin Ross Lee's Birthday after party last weekend! Really enjoyed myself, tried their watermelon martini, DELICIOUS! There was a red carpet and camera's flashing everywhere! Danced the night away and enjoyed a few yummy cupcakes as well! I definitely suggest 49 Grove as a venue for Birthday Parties! The staff was great at accommodating everyone who attended, I even danced a little bit with one of the cute waitresses :) Two thumbs up!

My friends and I organized a party here and had an absolutely terrible night. The doormen and managers were nothing but rude and disrespectful. They gave many of our guests a hard time getting in (they were even rude to us when we arrived even though we organized the party!). Apparently there is a no sneaker rule, although we were never notified of this in advance and they were literally looking at guys shoes and judging based on their "niceness." They even bribed one of our guests for $50 just to get in. Don't have a party here, you will regret it. Don't know who they are..it's 49 Grove..not Studio 54.

I went here a few weeks ago and checked in my coat and scarf and even tipped the attendant early. At the end of the night, I went to pick up my items and basically was told that they didn't have it. They gave away my coat and scarf even though I had my ticket stub and sent me outside in the freezing cold. The attendant said they would take full responsibility and yet nothing came of it. I waited, emailed, called and was basically told by the owner, Aram Sabet, that I would have to provide a police report, receipts for my Jil sander coat and scarf (if a bar charges as much as $15 for cocktails, then expect your clients to have $2000 coats!). They even questioned the validity of my claim even though bartenders, security personnel/cameras and other bar-goers that evening witnessed the entire scene of the attendant claiming full responsibility. DO NOT EVER VISIT OR SUPPORT ANY OF ARAM SABET'S BARS/RESTAURANTS!!!

Line cut is false, everybody is VIP door. First come first serve table choice is false, voucher users are given worse cramped tables no matter how large your party. Tax and tip is based off the full price of your bottle, not the voucher. The real discount is not 82% off. It is actually closer to 50% with the appropriate tip and tax included. As a voucher user, I was a second class citizen.
