I went to 49 Grove for my birthday a few weekends ago and the staff was very accommodating! My girls and I had a blast! We got plenty of drinks, the place was clean and the music was bumpin! I totally recommend 49 Grove. One of my new favorite clubs to go to!!
Can't wait to come back!

I have visited this hot spot in the west village numerous times and always had exceptional service and a great time. The Bar staff and bus boys were extremely attentive to our group as we both mingled at the bar and then used a bottle voucher I purchased from gilt.com. The room has such a nice ambiance with the low ceilings and dim lighting. by about 1:30am the club was really going with great music, the DJ really knows how to feel the crowd! All around, great time, will be returning very soon!
Looking for a night out in NYC?
By ArielPAmir on 2/10/2013
with a local NYC crowd, spots in the Meatpacking district, Chelsea. and other hot parts in the city. Places like: KISS&FLY, AENUE, TENJUNE, 1OAK, LAVO, Riff Raff's, Gansevoort Park, WIP, RdV, and many more. I host few different spots every night and always have a VIP table or a table on the dance floor. Celebrating birthday, bachelorette/ bachelor party? I can get you the best deals. Table reservation? Bottle service? I can make a table reservations in almost every spot in the city, getting the best tables in the club and best prices. I meet my guests outside the club and personally walk them in making sure everything is going smoothly and they having a good time. LOSE THE ATTITUDE 49 GROVE! WILL NEVER GO BACK.
By YHomes on 1/1/2013
Went there last night for New Year's Eve and couldn't wait to get back home to write this review. I have never been to a place with such horrible service. A friend of a friend did them a great favor by putting together and event and getting about 150+ to sign up and purchase tickets for $120 as well as get table service for New Years Eve. We were all looking forward to having a great time with friends and great music. Too bad the only two bartenders got in the way of that. Not only were they WAY short staffed but they were incredibly rude and borderline mean. They barely poured any alcohol into mixed drinks and refused to serve anyone without double digit bills in their hands for tip. When I ordered a "strong" Jack and Ginger the male bartender actually said, "Strong? I don't see any money in your hand" and walked away. The waitresses overcharged on bottle service and spilled drinks on people without apologizing. I understand that on a hectic night like New Years Eve things are bound to have some hiccups, but our experience there was horrible. They should realize that if they treated all the people (that have already paid good money to come to their establishment with an "open bar") with respect they would have gotten better tips and much better reviews. This place actually could have potential, it's a shame that management doesn't realize how important customer service is. My advice: Don't even consider this place. All 150+ of us will not be coming back.
Never go to this place. It's terrible
By Andrew212 on 11/13/2011
This place is the worst. I will never go back. The bouncers are unbelievably rude. At one point one of the bouncers was screaming at and physically intimidating a girl in our group. The place is quick to sell you 2 bottles but will not give you enough space to stand with your party to drink them. No dancing. It's an overpriced hole in the wall and it's a shame it is in such a great neighborhood. It is honestly the worst part of the West Village. I can't emphasize enough how rude these people were. It doesn't belong in NYC nor do any of the people in there. They ruined the girl's birthday party I was there for - the bus boys were the only respectable people in the place.
Stay away, Gilt City vouchers are scam
By milkorhoney on 10/17/2011
Line cut is false, everybody is VIP door. First come first serve table choice is false, voucher users are given worse cramped tables no matter how large your party. Tax and tip is based off the full price of your bottle, not the voucher. The real discount is not 82% off. It is actually closer to 50% with the appropriate tip and tax included. As a voucher user, I was a second class citizen.
THEY WILL GIVE AWAY YOUR COAT AT COAT CHECK TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!
By dustinereyes on 3/2/2011
I went here a few weeks ago and checked in my coat and scarf and even tipped the attendant early. At the end of the night, I went to pick up my items and basically was told that they didn't have it. They gave away my coat and scarf even though I had my ticket stub and sent me outside in the freezing cold. The attendant said they would take full responsibility and yet nothing came of it. I waited, emailed, called and was basically told by the owner, Aram Sabet, that I would have to provide a police report, receipts for my Jil sander coat and scarf (if a bar charges as much as $15 for cocktails, then expect your clients to have $2000 coats!). They even questioned the validity of my claim even though bartenders, security personnel/cameras and other bar-goers that evening witnessed the entire scene of the attendant claiming full responsibility. DO NOT EVER VISIT OR SUPPORT ANY OF ARAM SABET'S BARS/RESTAURANTS!!!
DO NOT GO HERE
By TR15 on 2/7/2011
My friends and I organized a party here and had an absolutely terrible night. The doormen and managers were nothing but rude and disrespectful. They gave many of our guests a hard time getting in (they were even rude to us when we arrived even though we organized the party!). Apparently there is a no sneaker rule, although we were never notified of this in advance and they were literally looking at guys shoes and judging based on their "niceness." They even bribed one of our guests for $50 just to get in. Don't have a party here, you will regret it. Don't know who they are..it's 49 Grove..not Studio 54.
