My friend's band played at Goodbye Blue Monday, and it was a entertaining experience. I say experience because the atmosphere of the place is so vastly different from any place I've been to so far. The clutter and unique junk pieces (some tastefully artful) created its own kind of vibe. The ambiance reaches its full potential when accompanied by the music being played live. The usual free admission is also another reason to come visit GBM. The only complaint i have is the lack of variety at the bar; the drinks and food options were pretty limited.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
