We stopped in by accident and so glad we did! The happy hour was an amazing deal, but even the regular prices are v reasonable for fab, unique wines! The wait staff were friendly and helpful too! We'll be back!

Lovely cosy decor and tasty simple dishes: wooden boards with a cheese selection or an assortment of smoked meats and patés. Small portions but a great place to order the whole menu and share with friends over a nice bottle (or three) of wine.

I have been to Jadis several times and the service is always great. The staff is extremely knowledgable and they have at least 15 reds and whites by the glass. I love wine and frequent wine bars in NYC regularly and honestly do not know of anywhere else in NYC with such a diverse selection by the glass. The cheese platters are my favorite, wonderfully presented. The decor is very cozy, all four walls, even the ceiling are brick. I am also a big fan of the candles they always have burning, as well as the chill, wordly music they play. Perfect place for a gathering with friends or a romantic atmosphere for a date. They even have a lounge area in the back that can be rented out for private events. Love this place !
