the BEST bar in Williamsburg

Maracuja is just what the south side of Williamsburg's poser and hipster-infested neighborhood needed. The husband & wife team of Charlie and Connie couldn't be kinder or more generous as managers and hosts. The space is roomy and completely comfortable with plenty of space to kick back...perfect for spending a quiet night with a friend over cocktails, and equally perfect for a large gathering of friends. Remember when bars were places where people convened to relax and drink, and not places to be seen and shamelessly pick up a hook up (speaking of which, Union Pool couldn't gross me out more these days, blegh). Take your hard-earned money and support this wonderful bar; you won't be disappointed. Plus, they have a pool table, jukebox, and a lovely outdoor garden space to drink and smoke. I love you, Maracuja...don't change a thing!
