I went to TenJune last night and had an amazing time! My friends and I got a table on the dance floor-- talk about being right where all the action is! Our server was amazing and the DJ was incredible! No problems at the door and def a spot I will return to...

Tenjune is by far the hottest place to go in NYC and is easily the best party in all of the meatpacking district! I was there a couple of weeks ago with friends-- I introduced myself to the owners Eugene Rem and Mark Birnbaum and they were the nicest club guys that I've ever met! John Mayer and Derek Jeter were there and the DJ was amazing. It is def still the place to be.

This is our second visit to Tenjune as we live in Los Angeles. I read all the reviews about how terrible the door staff is and in particular Alex. Something must be wrong with most of you because it took us no more than 2 minutes to get ushered into the club without being on the "owners" list. I dont think the "sacred list" is real unless you are actually a celebrity. Our concierge at the Ritz was told it was door discretion on who gets in. No lists, no reservations unless you want table service. It was my fiance and I and she walked up to the barriers and stood there and was noticed by Alex and was let in. I think most of the reviews are being written by competing clubs or ugly, unclassy women who are just bitter they cant get in......and you know EXACTLY who you are....I dont want to be in an upscale club with someone who is nursing a budweiser all night and grabbing my fiance. I want to be with classy, good looking people who know how to act in an upscale scene. P.S. The music is great.

Considering the terrible comments here, I feel the need for a positive note. 1/ Music: Most of the time its been pretty good. 2/ Decor: Not bad. 3/ Drinks: Average. 3/ Crowd: Some reviewers who didnt get in are insulting the ones who party there. Though one can be pissed at the bouncer (Im not gonna advocate), claiming that the club is filled with only ugly and old people is more the proof of a oversized ego than an objective fact (FYI, Ive already seen a lot of models, including a topmodel celebrating her birthday). That said, I feel sorry for the ones who had a geniunely bad experience with the staff. To the others who always want to be in the most exclusive spots but cant accept to be denied sometimes, you shouldn't be bitter...

This place is completely ridiculous the people working outside appear to be selective by only allowing a few people here & there in. It's funny that those they let in are not attractive at all, but know someone who promotes there or bends Alex over on the weekends. All he does is pretend like he's super busy, by pacing back & forth. I always get in everywhere else I go, even went to Bungalow 8 last week, and I never wait in line to get in Marquee, who by the way has the hottest Doorman love you Wass :) ... Maybe you can learn something from him Alex, or maybe not considering how demanding your job is. People who were coming out were telling those on line that the music sucked & it wasn't worth it at all, bunch of hype.

If you are thinking about going to this bar, THINK AGAIN AND READ THE MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! As a frequent of many bars and clubs around the world, I can honestly say that this club has the most ignorant and rude staff possible. I am shocked at the way people are treated at the door, especially women. I've heard a few big, burly door men speak with unbelievalble disrespect to so many people. My friend and I went (we are both girls) and we were denied entry. My friend is a Playmate in Playboy (as of recently) and I am have never been refused entry in many exclusive clubs, and Alex ignored us. I have seen countless attractive people get turned down, as others just elbowed their way to the front since they knew a knob or two that worked the door. WHERE DO THEY FIND THESE IDIOTS??? What a way to promote hype. Give me a break. I hope this place closes down and those clowns become unemployed. Unbelievable...just unbelievable.

I am a new yorker and understand the way clubs are in NYC however the way that the bouncers and security treat people at tenjune is completely unacceptable! After being put on the actual owners list (by one of the owners) a group of us (9 Girls!) went to tenjune the other night. Well apparently you really have to actually be a celebrity for the bouncers to treat you with any kind of respect, because they are so rude. I have never witnessed men treating women like this in my life. And it wasn't even like they were being selective trying to choose the pretty girls online to let in. They literaly weren't look at anyone! Even when we spoke to that jerk Alex he looked right past us, they basically were all just pacing back and forth doing nothing while thier sidewalk security gaurds yell at women. I guess its a tough job cuz they looked like they were having a hard time. And the best part is this place isn't even worth all that, the other places they own like ONE and STK are so much better.

This reivew is somewhat biased bc I went w/ a friend who has been there many times and had arranged for a table for us. Although there was a huge line, we only waited about 5 minutes before they brought our party of 10 downstairs and gave us two tables on the dance floor. So, if you were one of the people stuck outside, that probably sucked.... But....inside was great! The bottle service came quickly, our waitress was great (which you'd expect for $5K+) and the DJ was fab. The music was more funny than cutting edge (there was a massive cheer when Sweet Home Alabama came on, which is always weird in NCY).Contrary to the other posters, I didn't find it very B&T (and I live about 5 blocks away) or too young (I'm 32 and everyone at our tables was in their late 20s or 30s). We danced all night and had a blast. Would I have waited outside for an hour to get in? Probably not....

I can not imagine that after making a reservation and receiving an email confirmation, we would be treated as horrifically as we were by the extremely rude, obnoxious, arrogant bouncers/doorman. If having a confirmed reservation does NOT guarantee a table, why confirm it? We had all intentions to spend the ladder part of the evening for our bachelorette party at Tenjune, but as a result of uncouth, badmannered door staff, we were for no other reason than their whim, not allowed in. I am sure that Cielo GREATLY appreciated the horrific treatment, as that is where we ended up getting a table and a $6,200 tab. It is truly unfortunate someone in that organization feels its ok to treat its potential patrons this way. When asked I will describe Tenjune in every negative aspect imaginable. I woudl like to say thank you for the inconvenience, rude treatment, and taste of utter disgust I got as a parting gift from Tenjune!

From just hanging out with your good friends, to seeing celebrities bump into you, this nightclub is one of the best hott spots in NYC to be.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
