I went to TenJune last weekend upon the recommendation of another close friend who classified this place as the new "it" spot. It was all the hype and more! My friends and I walked in immediately, completely bypassing the line of people who simply didn't belong (and I was pleased to see the standards). We went immediately to our friend's table, had wonderful drinks and even partied a little with Lil John! It was a wonderful night! The only negative was the brashness of a security guard towards the end of the night. He was in such a rush to have us removed from our table so we could close. That was inappropriate. Also, I requested a song from the DJ (the music was starting to well, suck, around 3:30am) and he claimed he "played everything already," meanwhile was spinning the worst selections. Overall, loved it!

Ok, if you are from out of town, you might think that this is a cool NYC place but it is NOT. If you live here or want to have a new york experience, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS BAR. I've been here a few times thinking it might live up to it's hype but i can honestly say it is the WORST bar I have ever been to. Live it up and go to Gaslight instead....I promise you'll have more fun. :)

If you like a very young, very B&T crowd then this is your place. Otherwise skip it. The bouncers haven't quite figured out how to run the door or for that matter move gracefully through the club without shoving folks left and right. Being elbowed by the girl with big hair and fake nails or the underaged guy with too much cologne and slicked back hair is one thing but being knocked off your heels by the bouncers is another. And by the way, the lead bouncer at the door, Alex couldn't even bring himself to give the place a 10 . . . he weighed in at 8.

I love this ultra hot place! I came with all my girls both nights this weekend and it was super crazy! I had a table on the Dancefloor with my crew and the DJ killed it, he mixed it all up old and new. Beautiful people everywhere. There seemed to be another model or hot guy all over the place Even got a peek at some celebs ;) Def recommend this place!!!

From just hanging out with your good friends, to seeing celebrities bump into you, this nightclub is one of the best hott spots in NYC to be.

I can not imagine that after making a reservation and receiving an email confirmation, we would be treated as horrifically as we were by the extremely rude, obnoxious, arrogant bouncers/doorman. If having a confirmed reservation does NOT guarantee a table, why confirm it? We had all intentions to spend the ladder part of the evening for our bachelorette party at Tenjune, but as a result of uncouth, badmannered door staff, we were for no other reason than their whim, not allowed in. I am sure that Cielo GREATLY appreciated the horrific treatment, as that is where we ended up getting a table and a $6,200 tab. It is truly unfortunate someone in that organization feels its ok to treat its potential patrons this way. When asked I will describe Tenjune in every negative aspect imaginable. I woudl like to say thank you for the inconvenience, rude treatment, and taste of utter disgust I got as a parting gift from Tenjune!

This reivew is somewhat biased bc I went w/ a friend who has been there many times and had arranged for a table for us. Although there was a huge line, we only waited about 5 minutes before they brought our party of 10 downstairs and gave us two tables on the dance floor. So, if you were one of the people stuck outside, that probably sucked.... But....inside was great! The bottle service came quickly, our waitress was great (which you'd expect for $5K+) and the DJ was fab. The music was more funny than cutting edge (there was a massive cheer when Sweet Home Alabama came on, which is always weird in NCY).Contrary to the other posters, I didn't find it very B&T (and I live about 5 blocks away) or too young (I'm 32 and everyone at our tables was in their late 20s or 30s). We danced all night and had a blast. Would I have waited outside for an hour to get in? Probably not....

I am a new yorker and understand the way clubs are in NYC however the way that the bouncers and security treat people at tenjune is completely unacceptable! After being put on the actual owners list (by one of the owners) a group of us (9 Girls!) went to tenjune the other night. Well apparently you really have to actually be a celebrity for the bouncers to treat you with any kind of respect, because they are so rude. I have never witnessed men treating women like this in my life. And it wasn't even like they were being selective trying to choose the pretty girls online to let in. They literaly weren't look at anyone! Even when we spoke to that jerk Alex he looked right past us, they basically were all just pacing back and forth doing nothing while thier sidewalk security gaurds yell at women. I guess its a tough job cuz they looked like they were having a hard time. And the best part is this place isn't even worth all that, the other places they own like ONE and STK are so much better.

If you are thinking about going to this bar, THINK AGAIN AND READ THE MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! As a frequent of many bars and clubs around the world, I can honestly say that this club has the most ignorant and rude staff possible. I am shocked at the way people are treated at the door, especially women. I've heard a few big, burly door men speak with unbelievalble disrespect to so many people. My friend and I went (we are both girls) and we were denied entry. My friend is a Playmate in Playboy (as of recently) and I am have never been refused entry in many exclusive clubs, and Alex ignored us. I have seen countless attractive people get turned down, as others just elbowed their way to the front since they knew a knob or two that worked the door. WHERE DO THEY FIND THESE IDIOTS??? What a way to promote hype. Give me a break. I hope this place closes down and those clowns become unemployed. Unbelievable...just unbelievable.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
