My favorite bar in the city

I love the pool bar at Grace. I have been coming here for years and I am never disappointed. Yes, there is a cover, but that includes a pool, steam and sauna - this is a whole spa experience with booze - that makes any cover a total bargain. After coming so often I consider the bartenders friends, the steam room has to be the most intense in the city, and if you go on a weeknight you get a nice peaceful experience (my favorite). I recommend this place to every person I meet. This is truly an amazing hidden gem.

Seriously rude service, terrible atmosphere, complete rip-off

  • No, I would not go back!

After paying the $10 cover, I was ushered immediately upstairs to the coat check for a $4 mandatory inconvenience. The bartenders ignored everyone and acted too important to make a gin and tonic; perhaps they would have rather refilled the olive jar or something. Music was way too loud. There were people literally humping in the pool. This gets a 2 rating only because after complaining one of the managers gave me a free drink, which I gave away because I was so disgusted. Do not go here.
