Candles, high ceilings, a minimalist design palate, and dim lighting make this Tribeca emporium a contemporarily gothic, yet romantic setting where an artsy, well-to-do local crowd relishes Italian wine. If you just absolutely adore that glass of Nero dÂ’Avola, purchase it nextdoor at Vino VinoÂ’s wine boutique, separated only by a glass wall that divides its way across the whole establishment. Sipping a glass of Vernaccia from one of the banquettes while watching the retail action occurring across the wall makes the place feel a bit like a chic psych ward, but youÂ’re more likely to be amused by watching the wandering oenophiles than you would be staring at another brick wall. With so many offices in the area, itÂ’s best to hit Vino Vino for an after work drink, unless you want the place all to yourself in the later hours of the night.
