Hi, on tuesday night ( 25/10/11) I had the great idea to sugest a friend this "new place " near by our Hotel the Tribeca Grand, i read about in winespectator VinoVino in New York City, we were there for a "break" and decided to visit you guys. The place is beautiful! and cozy and very well designed but we had the worst 60 min of our entire life: the service was terrible!! to say the least, they were slow, as sssllloooow can get, we did try to reason with the two ladies and explain our situation , and asked for the manager or owner ( we werent the only ones with this demand ) ... and apparently for our own surprise " the staff also were wishing he could be there too" it was soo obvious they felt abandoned , stressed out, and helpless ! at that point we ( my friend and I) decided to write about it , and we will...its too bad such a lovely place with a great location, neglects their own service and their own staff ... hey guys " courage" as they say in France AND BY THE WAY, HALF OF THE WINES THEY PROPOSE IN THEIR MENU AND BLACKBOARD ARE NOT AVAILABLE !!!!

Candles, high ceilings, a minimalist design palate, and dim lighting make this Tribeca emporium a contemporarily gothic, yet romantic setting where an artsy, well-to-do local crowd relishes Italian wine. If you just absolutely adore that glass of Nero d’Avola, purchase it nextdoor at Vino Vino’s wine boutique, separated only by a glass wall that divides its way across the whole establishment. Sipping a glass of Vernaccia from one of the banquettes while watching the retail action occurring across the wall makes the place feel a bit like a chic psych ward, but you’re more likely to be amused by watching the wandering oenophiles than you would be staring at another brick wall. With so many offices in the area, it’s best to hit Vino Vino for an after work drink, unless you want the place all to yourself in the later hours of the night. For a full venue profile go to

Brilliant wine bar, with superb service, beautiful cheeses and delicious wine. Would definitely return. Very empty later on in the evening, almost felt like we were dining privately in our very own restaurant.
