Thursday nights in the back room they have "Nintendo Wars", where they play old school nintendo games on the big screens and give out free drinks as prizes. Good music and free pizza. Done.

I've been here a few times. I wish they had one near prospect park in my hood. I like the environment. Sometimes a bit too hipsterish, but you can't go wrong for fair priced beers, free pizza to cure a hangover, and cool karaoke Dj's that let out your more social side on a bad day. Come here after Union Pool super-cheap specials and after Barcade. Don't drink at Barcade - too pricey and asshole bartenders. Just go for the games then end up at Alligator Lounge to end your night on a high note. Note most of these reviews are negative on service. I didn't have a problem. Look at the bartender when he looks at you and shout what you want. You'll get service. Bars are suppose to be loud and overall my stay in NYC for the past few years all bartenders are assholes until you tip them well (anywhere you go). When I was there the bar was crowded, it was late, and I got my beer immediately and pizzas were plenty to pick up WITHOUT a wait!!!

We host KARAOKE every Thursday night at the Alligator Lounge from 10pm til 2am. Over 10,000 song choices, and totally free. Nope, we don't accept tips. Just come and sing your butt off. Even if you've never done karaoke, we'll hold your hand! You can even find your song beforehand at our website: newsoundkaraoke (dot com). Your hosts, Black Waterfall and Bobby Service

I don't want the place to get so crowded that I can't get in. This is a fantastic place, with Widmer Hefeweizen on tap, and of course... free pizza. I didn't know about the pizza when I wandered in mid-week. When the bartender told me about it, I pictured pizza pockets... but it's wonderful wood oven thin crust pizza. You pay 2 bucks for your first topping and 1 buck for after that. I had mine loaded, so it set me back a whole 5 bucks. The same pizza in Manhattan would have set me back 15 bucks. Would I be back? I'm thinking of getting an apartment above the place!

Fun, lively, pool table, good beer and free pizza. Did I die and go to heaven?!?

The free pizza you get with your beer is great. Eating this pizza is like taking a bite into God, and drinking a beer at the same time. Must be what heaven is like.

so uncool its cool, but not realy that cool, but thats what makes it sooo cool... free brick oven pizza, Karaoke on Thursdays, Buckhunter II in the back, whats not to love. Having a hard time getting a drink is an occasional fact of life in NYC bars. I actualy found this bar to have a better buy back policy than most.

The proximity to the L train and the "free" pizza will guaranty this place a steady clientele. If you like being ignored by the bartender and given ridiculous amounts of attitude, then you'll love this place. Loud, bad music, abysmal service and did I mention attitude? Their trademark is free pizza but they act like you're being a cheapskate if you ask for it. That is IF you're able to get their attention. Despite my having a full head of grey hair, I was refused service without ID. What a bunch of tools.

In a place that only had four customers at the bar, the bartender was impatient, rude, and condescending toward me and my guest. I would never drink or eat there again. No customer service or hospitality what so ever.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
