It was clean, appeared very nice, bowling, playing, etc. However, staff being friendly or welcoming just didn't feel it. The bowling experience was fun, food different story. Went on school trip meal plan on flyer, hot dogs, hamburger, pizza, fries & soda. Of course its not everything but when it came time for kids to eat. The tables were set up already, cold greasy fries & a slice of just as greasy cold pizza & watered down soda. Personally as an adult I would have liked a burger & water would have been a better choice. I guess with the group rate for school trip the alley gave the cheapset easiest meal. If it was the trip advisor who decided on meal plan, they should be fired. Didn't give an option for the kids to have bowling shoes. Enjoyable time as far as bowling, but I would not go on my own just based on the staff greeting & food. I guess because it was kids they didnt think it mattered to be kind and friendly, but it did, well to me it did. Customer service is everything & at $20. per person, I think the kids deserved kind & friendly. Oh & the restrooms clean & updated but using the bathroom stalls very very small, tiny in space. It's impossible to use the restroom without bumping into something when using the bowl (no pun intended). Everything was automated with sensors which is great for them because it saves them money but annoying if you happen to be a women & maybe need a little extra tissue. Or if you have a child with you and they need more tissue.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
