There is simply no better bar.

This place is a treasure. Totally undemanding, what you see is what you get, but try finding it anywhere else. Singer-songwriters wander in asking for stage time. Stick around and you might hear something pretty good. Good draught beer selection. Not for the faint of heart. Even a flat screen with the game. The management acts like they don't give a damn, but they probably do, and this is the way they want it; a living artifact, a rarity, a gem.

Myself and my wife found this by chance on hearing a rather talented female singer while walking by. We went in, and didnt leave until around 2am, (Sunday night, would have stayed longer if we could). Turns out the singer was Marisela, very very good, and she was followed up by Vinnie Ferrone, again very good. The staff were extremely friendly, and can honestly say I felt like I'd wandered into my local, not a bar thousands of miles from home. Next time I come back I will be visiting again for sure, probably every night. Thanks for a great night.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
