While Barbuto could be an extremely casual dining destination for those warm summer nights, with it's simple tusan fare, garage door facade, open kitchen and wood-burning oven, it falls short where no restaurant should, it's service. Wether it was the self-righteous and uneducated waitstaff or the fact that they couldn't make a simple change to accommodate a vegetarian at the table, I will not be coming back, the concept of service does not exist here. Take your money and appetite to nearby Morandi, where the concept is similar, but the food, ambiance and service is consistently head and shoulders above this place.
