EXCELENTE

This place is MUY RICO...aka very delicious. Go for any of the margaritas, the lime was beyond satisfactory and the jalapeno was a fun and spicy alternative. The pork and pineapple tacos were perfect, and the authentic guacamole and uber mexican-style tortilla chips are not to be missed. The salsa served on the side of the Guac was also exquisite, the perfect spicy-flavor ratio. Low key but very hip; great un-pretentious atmosphere, crowd and super nice (& cute!) servers. Need I say more??

Delicious food and margaritas

Love the spicy margaritas, and every dish I've tried here. Wait times can be long though if you don't get there early. Packed every time I've left!

Perfect!

After eating here, I actually feel I may have given other restaurants I have reviewed too high a rating. This place is perfectly sized to feel intimate and exclusive without feeling boxed in. It has the air of a secret find and there is no pretentiousness to be found. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly... And the food and drinks are great. I'd recommend the steak tacos and the habaƱero/grapefruit margaritas (althought the standard ones are just as tasty). The tequila selection is awesome. The ceviche is authentic and good, but I've had better. I'd also recommend getting there early as I'm not the only city dweller who has discovered this excellent place. It get's packed.

Fabuloso

You may have to wait 20 minutes to be seated at a table (I recommend a seat at the bar) after 6 o clock, but for a place thats packed every night of the week in an area off the beaten track- there's a good reason. Don't be fooled by the cardboard drinks menus. The grapefruit margarita is a gem as well as the dark ginger mojito. To absorb the alcohol- I recommend the steak tacos and calamari salad.

I didn't sample the food, but they sure make a killer habanero grapefruit margarita.
