I love that this bar stays open till 4 am; that you can hear yourself speak at a normal level over the music; that there are coat hooks everywhere; that there is a large bar hiding at the back (great for groups!); that there is a huge bottled beer selection. But what I love most are the bartenders. They ooze coolness and are extremely chilled. I was there for birthday drinks late on a Friday. At some point I put my beer on the table to go to the bathroom and it got removed. When I complained, they just handed me another beer. Where in Manhattan does that happen? When I told them it was my birthday, they let me choose a free shot. The only reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because there are no beers on tap and no food, but if it aint broke, don't fix it I guess. LOVE THIS BAR!

I arrived about 5:30 to a sparse bar. Not unusual at that hour. But within an hour this mellow ambiance of a bar was alive and kicking. Although being in heels and trying to get over the growing expanse of places where tiles had come loose leaving pits and uneven ground made for being graceful a bit tricky the place had charm. I'd like to see them attempt to fix those areas in the floor though. It seemed unprofessional, lazy and unsafe.
