Horrible Management!!

No, I would not go back!

Why can I not give this place zero stars? Had a horrible experience here this past week. We went into the place and I initially thought everything was cool--I didn't mind the prices, this is NYC after all. The set-up was also pretty nice. However, the management staff was incredibly rude and incompetent. Well, the one manager was. I believe his name was Dan. I approached him with two complaints--one, I didn't think our large party should have to share a lane with another group when there were many lanes available. Two, our computer screen wasn't working. I asked our waitress to let us talk to a manger about these problems. I was very nice in my approach and I started off by thanking him for coming over. Dan was rolling his eyes the entire time I stated my problems. I then said calmly, "Do you think you can help us with this? Sorry for being a bother." He then told me to shut the f*** up! I was flabbergasted. I tried to find another manager to speak to but our waitress told us he was the only one available at the moment and that she would try to fix our problems. I was pretty hurt after being told to shut the f up, so we gathered our things and left. I haven't bothered to call the company and tell them about this disgusting manager, but I thought I would advise fellow Yelpers to stay away from Bowlmor Lanes, or at least DAN at all costs!

Striking Space

Yes, I would go back!

I had to find a venue for my company's event this past May and I thought that Bowlmor would be the perfect place, something everyone could enjoy outside of the office. The event staff was excellent, from the minute I called, they discussed my options, what would be best for my group and I had a proposal within 15 minutes. The great service continued throughout our event, we had our own host, the display was excellent, they were extremely accommodating and they made me feel like a guest at my own event. I was able to sit back, relax and enjoy! Everyone had a great time and all agreed, we will be booking our corporate parties here more often.
