I was shocked at how rude the bartender was to several people throughout the night. Overall the night was OK because the crowd I was with made the night fun, but a rude bartender can easily ruin your night. Would not recommend.

this place is obnoxiously overcrowded, with bad drinks and bad service. it's a trendy pub (if possible) and maybe that's why the service is so awful. the bartender was extremely rude and the drinks were weak, which is unfortunate as we are in the service industry and like to take care of our bartenders/waitresses.

The manager, Marisol, is rude and unhelpful. Our event was nothing like she had made it seem and we were extremely disappointed with the results. Our food platter was served to a different party, and once the waitress realized, she took the half eaten food platter and gave it to our party. A complete disaster.

I celebrated my birthday at Brass Monkey about a week and a half ago and I was super excited to be spending time with my friends, and excited that I was able to reserve two tables without a bottle charge. Little did I know my night would turn into a disaster. We arrived at Brass Monkey and got set up at the table. What we didn't know was that we were only able to order drinks from a waitress and got continually yelled at for going to the bar when our waitress was MIA. They took my credit card just to make sure we didn't skip out on the tab. While my group went out for a smoke, the waitress gave away one of my two tables to a group of random people who just wanted to sit down. My twenty something friends that were there all had to squeeze into one table since we weren't allowed to drink anywhere else. We tested the upstairs rooftop bar, which was too small for comfort and the two different floors looked exactly the same. We were suck. We paid for the bill, 90% in cash and the 10% on my credit card. What really aggravated me is that after paying for most of the bill in cash, they charged 100% of the bill on my credit card, costing me double what we should have paid. When I asked to rectify this mistake, they told me they were busy and would do it the following day. I work hard for my money and really do not want to wait when money was being taken away from me. They finally fixed their mistake but I will NEVER go back there!

It's a really nice looking place with three floors of room and high ceilings. Location is odd and creepy but inside it's beautiful I think. Good looking crowd. Rude bartender. We got served quickly, but when I went back to get a pair of glasses that were left behind the bartender on the second floor yelled at the top of his lungs. Telling me that it was too bad my drunk friend lost his glasses and it's our problem. How rude? He should be fired.

incredibly spacious and with lots of room to sit - we were very pleased. yeah - once it catches on, and once the weather gets warmer, i'm sure the crowds will come, but it would still be worth it. an impressive selection of beers, decent bar food, fantastic staff and perfect for large groups!! - a great find.
