I hesitate to even write a review because this is truly a neighborhood space that I'd like to keep to myself and the other regulars. (Even though I just discovered it and I live in Texas). The profile above is accurate. It might be the last real bar in New York. If you like to drink and eat in a friendly, earthy, shaggily hip, multi-generational, honest bar, this is the place. The clam chowder is a perfect match for my guiness.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
