Burp Castle is fantastic. First of all the beer is delicious. The decor is great, there are cool little tables to sit at and if the weather is nice you can sit out the front too. Can't say enough good things about this place. I've missed it since I've been back in England...

This place is great. I want to sing more of its praises, but I also don't want too many people to hear about it. I don't ever want this bar to change! This is a good meeting place, especially if you just want to sit, talk, and enjoy a fine selection of quality beers and ales. It is also the type of place I could envision spending early evenings by myself, sipping a beer and reading a good book (and not being bothered). Glorious!
