Luv the fries, palm and mussels

I love this place, the bartenders and food are always great! there is a great energy everytime! the west side is a great spot as well! BXL is a go to spot!

Great beers, so helpful, nice space for after-work drinks

I am not much of a beer drinker, but I can always find a great beer on the menu here. And when I'm unsure, my waiter/bar tender has gone so far as to bring me as many samples as I like until I find one that works. The customer service is fantastic for an after-work bar - much better than the other options in the area. I can't say much about the food - I haven't tried it. I really like the atmosphere here - it's a nice space, well-lit, good vibe. When I go, it's generally filled with midtowners grabbing drinks with friends and colleagues. Good table space as well. Can usually get a place to sit if I want.

Terrible Food, Awful Service

BXL on E 51st is a terrible restaurant, for both food and service. The food is bland and tasteless, but far worse is the service. Extremely poor management, rude and incompetent, makes this restaurant appalling. Avoid at all costs.
