Best Wine Bar Upper East

Not contrived like all the rest. This is the perfect alternative to the sports and college bars. Romantic with great food wine and atmosphere. We keep going back.

What a great addition to UES. Romantic and sexy as Erminia (same owner.) Gracious staff. Great looking adult crowd. If you want to go for a drink on Upper East Side at a bar without college kids or have light late night fare with your spouse or a date, this is the place. All the other "wine bars" on the UES are contrived (some look like shoe stores.) Cafe Notte is the real thing with classy comfortable food wine and decor. I have been there over a dozen times since it opened and am grateful it seems to be succeeding and staying true to it's intent.
