The food is good. The atmosphere works. And the place pulls in some great talent. The place to go if you want to catch up and coming comics and bands while drinking and eating yummy things for pretty cheap.

Why go home? I don't like anything veggie, but the cute little latina (argentinian?) waitress who served my friend and I with a smile and in hot pants recommended the veggie burger and the goddess (both veggie) and I certainly didn't want to let her down. Huge-Ass Veggie Burger with Rosemary Fries. My dinner date had the tots. The band that got booted off stage was actually pretty damn good for the first 3 songs before the diminutive front man started exploring the depths of an ego that probably was not his. Still don't think it's cool to kick a band off stage. You hired them, or at least gave them the ok. Let them do their thing. Rather than wait for the next act we went back to see who was performing at the Cameo stage. Both of us were pleasantly surprised by the level of talent and/or the confessional tales of some of Brooklyn's funniest/weirdest? We're still not comfortable enough in our manhood to listen to an attractive woman talk about how stalking her boyfriend's ex ultimately resulted in her shitting herself, but we both enjoyed some hearty chuckles over our Buffalo Trace Bourbons-- and one of us doesn't even like comedy.
