This place is the best for after work drinks! Have been here a couple of times on the weekend and it is very crowded but if you're into the pretty crowd thing, this is your place. Lots of glitz, perfect for the fashionista crowd. I actually prefer to go after work with a few of my coworkers for a few to unwind and the waitresses are so sweet. Also, the manager, I think his name is Isaac is very attentive to the room, he came over to us to check if we were enjoying ourselves. Yes, the prices are a bit high but hey, this is NYC you gotta pay to play!

WHAT'S UP WITH THAT NASTY REVIEW? I MET MY "BOYFRIEND" HERE... CHILLIN' AFTER WORK. I AM A NATIVE NEW YORKER AND HAVE HUNG UP DOWN AND ALL AROUND THIS CITY, AND STILL COME HERE WITH MY GIRLS AFTER WORK, WHERE BETTER TO CHILL IF YOUR IN THE FASHION BIZ THAN BRYANT PARK? AS FOR THE DRINKS BEING TO EXPENSIVE... FRI NIGHT THEY'RE FREE FOR ME (AND ALL THE OTHER LADIES) YUMMY. AND IF THIS RELATIONSHIP DOESN'T WORK OUT? YOU CAN BE SURE I'LL FIND ANOTHER HOTTIE HERE,ALSO I LOVE THE DJ FRI NIGHT... XO, ALI

One of the most beautiful bars in Manhattan, and that's saying alot. The wait staff is not only hot, but very friendly. The drinks are expensive, but what hotel bar isn't. What makes this unique is the live DJ spinning sexy lounge tunes to a fashionable crowd. New martini menu is a hit and my clients loved it. Don't be so hard on them. They have a wonderful "attitude free" staff.

OMG had such an amazing night out with my girls. Cellar Bar is definitely a place to go. If you want to avoid paying cover or waiting in line all night, I highly recommend getting in touch with a promoter. Our promoters name was Indi Romero he was amazing, he hooked us up with a VIP table and free drinks all night. You can get in touch with him through his facebook or the Joonbug website

I will never set foot in this place or Bryant Park Hotel ever again. A male was photographing me inside the bar and when I asked the bouncer for help I was instead carried out violenty and left on the street. I have bruises from him on my lower back. I asked to speak to a manager and was told no manager was on staff. I ended up calling the police to report how badly I was treated. The staff then ganged up against me and started to call me names. What's worse is the police arrived and took their story first and carried me out in handcuffs for "trespassing". The male who was photographing me was not asked to leave and remained in the bar, while I was taken to a holding cell. I now have to appear in court to fight criminal charges for a crime I didn't commit. Very scary place, scary and bullying staff. All you girls reading out there, I beg you not to go here. I don't want what happened to me to happen to you.

I was never treated so poorly in my life. We came in to celebrate my friends birthday, and from the start we were looked upon as trash. as the night progressed, we were thrown out, because someone tried to start a fight with us, Keep in mind we purchased 3 bottles and were not able to enjoy them. I will not go back and would not recommend this place to anyone, as a native new yorker and an avid club guru. The bouncers and door men, were nasty as can be, and were not wiling to work with us, my choice was to be thrown out in cuffs or pay my bill. very disappointed i was treated like a criminal while they stole my money!

I agree 100% with the reviewer. This place is all gimmick and the proprietors don't believe New Yorkers can tell the difference. Still, if what you are looking for is a meat market I suppose it may serve some purpose. This is a place for people who would rather find a quick romance at the Eiffel Tower Hotel in Las Vegas than experience the beauty of Paris. It's trendy but I don't think it will last long.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
