Do not go here - this is one very dodgy establishment. Everytime I go there someone gets there jacket stolen, or their wallet/phone stolen out of their jacket pockets. And if you yell at the bouncer/staff that your jacket was stolen, they will say wait five minutes and miraculously return with your jacket (once with someone elses phone in the pocket, and another time with someone elses jacket). Complete inside job! Not to mention it is the kind of place where you will put your drink down for 2 seconds and turn around and have they cleared it forcing you to buy another one. Its a bit of shame because I used to love this bar and went all the time with friends....but now management has become so dodgy that its too risky to go (unless you leave your bags/wallets/jackets/phones at home!) BEWARE!

the bouncers are rude, the drinks are bad, and overall this place is horrible. if you've got a chip on your shoulder or want to hang out with people who do, then hang out here. Puhleeze, there are better places in town.

I went to Chloe 81 one night when it first opened and the staff was so nice and the service was excellent. I haven't visited since its become more popular but the space is large and the drinks were good. The bouncers are a little picky allowing more females than males in which can be frustrating if you are with a bunch of guys but otherwise its a nice place.

The music the DJ was spinning last Friday was excellent. A good variation from Etta James, Ray Charles, to 80's rock. The lounge itself and ambiance was great and it is definitely a good place to "lounge"; however I am surprised that people thought this was the place for "hot sexy sweet things" or whatever the article claims it to be. It is definitely not! The crowd is not diverse enough, and the girls are whining and bitchy (WARNING to all MEN)! Plus they have the worst coat check system! They lose your coats and pretend as if they don't know what happened to it - personal experience. In fact, I spent hours arguing with the coat check girl (who should really be fired), the bouncer, and the manager; on top of that you have to deal with unattractive women who had no business in the situation.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
