the bouncers are rude, the drinks are bad, and overall this place is horrible. if you've got a chip on your shoulder or want to hang out with people who do, then hang out here. Puhleeze, there are better places in town.

I went to Chloe 81 one night when it first opened and the staff was so nice and the service was excellent. I haven't visited since its become more popular but the space is large and the drinks were good. The bouncers are a little picky allowing more females than males in which can be frustrating if you are with a bunch of guys but otherwise its a nice place.

The music the DJ was spinning last Friday was excellent. A good variation from Etta James, Ray Charles, to 80's rock. The lounge itself and ambiance was great and it is definitely a good place to "lounge"; however I am surprised that people thought this was the place for "hot sexy sweet things" or whatever the article claims it to be. It is definitely not! The crowd is not diverse enough, and the girls are whining and bitchy (WARNING to all MEN)! Plus they have the worst coat check system! They lose your coats and pretend as if they don't know what happened to it - personal experience. In fact, I spent hours arguing with the coat check girl (who should really be fired), the bouncer, and the manager; on top of that you have to deal with unattractive women who had no business in the situation.
