If dancing is your scene, this place is great. I love the music - an eclectic mix of techno, dance, hip-hop, and euro beats. If I'm in the mood to dance, drink, flirt a little, and encounter a few B-list celebrities, Cielo is where I head to.

It is a cool venue - but the door can be strict sometimes. I found a new iPhone application, which actually helps you get in to venues like this. BoomSet is a cool app, and definitely eases your mind about reserving a table or getting in to a guestlist. I feel like a night can go south very easily if you have some issues getting in to the place. Try BoomSet- I highly recommend it. My husband and I went there last night. After paying $20 each to get in, $4 to check our coat and buying two drinks, we only stayed for about 15 minutes. I couldn't wait to finish my drink and get out. The music was horrible! It was booming and was making me sick. The music was just some lame disco noise. The crowd wasn't any better. They all looked like the rejects from the nearby Apt club; a bunch a guys dancing or trying to dance. There were barely any ladies around, and they were nothing to look at. Bad experience!

Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Cocktails at the movies, a Monday-night bacchanal, and a great rookie-rap show.
