I had been wanting to try Clover Club based on all the great reviews. We went on a Saturday night when the place was packed -- it had a great energy and would be fun for a group (was a little loud for a date but still fun). We were pleased with the cocktails, but our food was just okay. I ordered the crostini which sounded promising with homemade ricotta and grilled peaches, but the bread was burnt to a crisp which ruined the flavor. My husband had the lamb burger which he liked. Overall a great place to enjoy cocktails with friends. Maybe our food experience was a fluke? Most people have written about the drinks, so I'm curious about what others think of the food.

Clover Club was the perfect post-holiday hangover brunch, and could have only been improved with one of their notorious cocktails. But I suppose that just gives me an excuse to return. My date and I tried the fried oyster po' boy (delish, according to him) and the omelet, which was possibly the best I've ever had. We loved it so much we were telling strangers about it on the street. Amazing decor, attentive staff, and colorful history all add to the warm atmosphere.

Although from the reviews, it seems some group didn't have a great time on 12/16 (anything better to do?)- truth is this place makes great cocktails. I have a small group of friends who meet at Clover Club once or twice a month- we have made it a tradition as we truly enjoy this venue. Carefully prepared creative cocktails, a cool relaxing vibe, and better than average food (we are planning a brunch visit soon). If you enjoy a good drink, it's a no-brainer.

There's nothing quite like a well-made cocktail, and I was pleased to discover several delicious ones at Clover Club last weekend. At first glance, we thought the smallish dining area was too full to accommodate us, but we ventured inside and found a second bar in the back, which reminded me of a posh library, complete with leather armchairs and fireplace. Despite the refined setting, we found the service to be warm and inviting, and the bartender was more than happy to explain menu items and make suggestions (all without a side of attitude, imagine!). My companion and I ended up having 'customized' cocktails, but other patrons' drinks all looked very good. Needless to say, I hope to visit again soon!

this place had an amazing tiled floor when you walk in and you can hear murmers of people saying everything from great drinks to beautiful bathrooms. you can absolutely ask the bartenders (so hot and talented) for advice or a surprise for a drink. they are not shitty usual bk bartenders but clearly experienced for at least a decade. drinks can take a little time but it is because they are prepared CORRECTLY. and wait till you see them shake. if you want a fast drink order wine. they are so nice too! really good place to bring a date. I was so impressed when I went there. absolutely beautiful. steak tartar is delicious!

I have been to the Clover Club twice since it opened, and absolutely loved it. The drinks were fantastic, by far the best in Brooklyn. It's about time someone opened a great cocktail bar in Brooklyn and put some money into the decor. I'm thrilled that I don't have to go into Manhattan on the weekend anymore.
