I don't know what that other person was referring to in terms of "problem bars" of the are and needing a narcotics raid....they must've been on drugs. We ended up meeting the owner during an intense Olympic game of Curling and hit it off. They were super friendly, had GREAT food which came for free with our buy one get one drinks (amazing) and the atmosphere was so chill. You can bring a notebook and write your next book while grabbing a cheap, yet quailty, beer, during the day or bring a group of friends at night and blast Abba on the jukebox. I really liked this place. Will be back. J

Came upon this bar randomly on a Friday night - wasn't over crowded, there was a jukebox with good music, and a good, friendly atmosphere. The bartenders were super friendly and sociable - this felt like a neighborhood bar - as if it were a part of the community. Not sure about below comment - I didn't get the feeling the place was sketchy at all - i felt the opposite - i felt comfortable and had a great time! Would definitely go back
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
