Still one of the best dives bars after so many years
By barcrawler10 on 7/7/2010
Ok Ok,I know what you are going to say. It's just another dive bar. With blinking lights and cute batrtenders , that dance to serveral diffrent songs. But after going to serveral New York city bars. over the years. I find myself coming back for more. fun here. My most resent visit a few weekends ago. I had so much fun. The bartender was a cute blonda (Tahnee). kept the conversation going through out the bar. She made it feel as a local neighberhood bar. You know the type. You come in an everyone seems to know each other. As it got later a few more bartenders came on. the other bar tender was just as freindly as the first. (Kelsey). So I will be back for more fun. You do have to have some money. Remember your in New York city. But it is well worth it. just a laid back fun bar. Hope to see you there !!!
If your in the mood for a little "COYOTE"

I've become somewhat of a Thursday night regular after happening into Coyote one hot night last summer. As a female, it was a liberating experience and one that I LOVE repeating as often as possible. The bar is very girl friendly and the lovely bartenders add spice to the otherwise dull experience of just "drinking". The Thursday night bartenders, Maria and Char are amazing at what they do. It is an experience not to be missed.
You can never have TOO MUCH FUN!

The real deal, these bar maids are smoother then Tennessee Whiskey and Wild as Mountain Dew. They are part cowgirl, part biker chick and part the girl your mother hoped you wouldn't meet. They are dressed to thrill and they are the Masters of Ceremony of a night of debauchery the guys will love to remember and the girls will hope their parents never see the pictures. They get the crowd going by dancing on the bar pouring shots down your throat and undressing the women patrons. The secret of the bar is simple. If you’re not drinking you’re killing the party. Drinking has also been simplified. Beer and shots. If you are a female you are invited on the bar. If you are too shy they invite your friends to toss you up there. Once there you dance, get fed more drinks. Have your bra liberated. Not wearing one, then they may cut up your top so that you look like you work there. Eventually while putting a Coyote halter on you the crowd gets to see what your mama gave you. Two thumbs up.
