This spot is a local NYC gem. I've had the pleasure of meeting the Owner and he's down to earth and approachable. The 3 female bartenders I've met are Great!! As a to do for you guys, visit on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday for the best entertainment around. The bartender definitely knows how to work the bar and provides an enjoyable atmosphere. The regulars are friendly and respectable. If you're looking for a bar just to chill and have a few drinks, this is the place. If you're looking for a high end, club type, expensive to-drink place, this place is not for you. In all I would recommend this local bar to anyone.

This is a seedy, dark, proud dive bar around from Port Authority. I stopped there one afternoon for a few beers with my girlfriend while waiting for a bus. Good prices, friendly regulars and a glimpse of what 42nd street used to be like before Walt Disney took it over.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
